BACKGROUND OF THE STORY.

Sheeba Anderson takes care of two foster children.
Before Christmas, she dropped by St. Anthony’s Church in Soho to pick up two pre-wrapped gifts for the children.

WHAT HAPPENED.

On Christmas morning, Natasha Brunson, one of the foster children, opened her gift.
Inside the wrapped present was a gun.

“ “I heard her say, ‘Look, Miss Sheeba, I found a gun!’ She was waving it around and playing with it,” Sheeba Anderson stated. ”

Natasha, being a child, was not scared, but rather excited. Anderson, however, was furious.
She examined the gift and found that the gun was missing its firing pin and was not loaded (which was a relief).
